Justice League: Movie Review (No Spoilers)

My Review of: Justice League

This is my quick review of the new DCEU film ‘Justice League’.

Official Synopsis: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists newfound ally Diana Prince to face an even greater threat. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy. Despite the formation of an unprecedented league of heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash — it may be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

The best aspects of the film lies with the characters and the interactions between them. There was never a dull moment for me where I didn’t smile or was not enjoying seeing these characters together.

For me the standout character would have to be Aquaman. He has some really cool scenes with the other characters and I can’t wait for his solo movie next year.

The introduction of characters from the overall larger universe were really well done and didn’t take away from the film but, sets it up.

The villain was good in my opinion but his look did suffer from poor cgi and unfinished effects.

The action scenes in the movie were really good. There is one particular scene that stands out but, I’ll let you see for yourself.

I think the fact that there were lighter moments to elevate the overall nature of the film helped make it more enjoyable.

Despite there being questions over whether the 121 minutes runtime would be efficient for this film, I can say that for me it was exactly what was needed. The film never dragged along like BvS did for me but, was paced very well which I felt helped elevate my enjoyment of the film.

Overall, I really enjoyed this movie and look forward to what comes next.
